A Short Note from the Founder
As I look back on our first ten months and look forward to the advent of the Giving Season, I am extremely grateful for all of the generous support we’ve received that has driven the rapid success we’ve enjoyed at Uptown Lacrosse. Just think, Uptown Lacrosse was incorporated on January, 11th, 2025 and a month later, on February 22nd, we were launching at the Police Athletic League Harlem Center. Since our official launch, we have recorded program milestones on a month-by-month basis. This wouldn’t be possible without the contribution of our incredible volunteer coaches and the role of our partners: Princeton Varsity Lacrosse, STX and the USA Lacrosse Foundation.
The Uptown Lacrosse End-of-the-Year Newsletter is devoted to capturing our rapid success in words and pictures and sharing with you, our supporters, the excitement as we follow our guiding star to “Grow the Game” of lacrosse for children ages 5 to 12 in Upper Manhattan. We hope you enjoy our “Chronology of Milestones”!
